Abstract:

To provide a titanium-copper alloy excellent in a spring characteristic and an electric conductivity without producing the surface roughening, at a low cost.

In a copper alloy thread composed by mass% of 1.5 to <2.2% Ti and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, this titanium-containing copper excellent in the spring characteristic and the electric conductivity has ≤0.4μm thickness of Ti-depletion layer existing on the surface of the thread when the layer portion having ≤80% of bulk Ti concentration in this Ti concentration is expressed as the Ti-depletion layer.
