Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation of time occurring even when plural devices are connected by providing a video synthesis circuit, and an M/S(master machine/slave machine) change-over switch which outputs M/S data representing a master side and a slave side, respectively when a switching terminal is switched to a first switching terminal or a second switching terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a video inputted to the master machine M is selected by the M/S change-over switch 6M, character and time data, after being converted to picture information by a character generator 4M, is outputted to the video synthesis circuit 5M, and is superimposed on the video, and is outputted from a video output terminal 9M. Also, when the video at a slave machine S side is selected by the M/S change-over switch 6S, only the character is superimposed at the slave machine S side, and a time is superimposed at a master machine M side, therefore, no deviation of time occurs even when the content of the timer circuit 2M of the master machine M is different from that of the timer circuit 2S of the slave machine S. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the deviation of time occurring even when a large number of multiplex video switching devices are connected.
