PURPOSE: To provide a large-sized container, for formation use, wherein a tab terminal is not tilted in a formation operation and to enhance an operating property when many tab terminals are handled.

CONSTITUTION: The inside of a container main body 3 whose upper part and lower parts are opened is divided by partitions 7, and housing parts 2, 2,... are formed. An aluminum bottom plate 4 is installed at the lower part of the container main body 3, and many drainage holes 5 whose diameter is smaller than the thickness of lead wires 13 for tab terminals 14 are made. An electrode jig 21 provided with magnetism is set on the bottom plate 4, the container main body is held upside down while the lead wires 13 made of iron are being attracted, and aluminum wire parts for the tab terminals are formed while they are being immersed in a formation liquid. Since the individual housing parts 2 are small, the tab terminals 14 are not tilted. On the other hand, since the many tab terminals 14 housed in the individual housing parts 2 can be treated collectively, an operating property can be enhanced when a container 1 is conveyed and cleaned as well as attached to, and detached from, the electrode jig 21.
