Abstract:
The invention relates to a cooling device for a switchgear cabinet, comprising a cooling circuit which has a compressor, an evaporator and a condenser. A respective fan is allocated to the evaporator and the condenser, whereby the evaporator fan supplies the air contained in the switchgear cabinet to the evaporator and the condenser fan feeds the ambient air to the condenser and whereby the compressor conveys the coolant that is contained in the cooling circuit. In order to ensure that the cooling device operates according to requirements, the invention is characterised in that the compressor is connected to a control unit via a signalling link, a temperature sensor, located in the interior of the switchgear cabinet, is allocated to the control unit and that the control unit has a control circuit which regulates the output of the compressor that deviates from zero, via the signalling link, based on the temperature measured by the temperature sensor.
