Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a jam of bills at a delivery portion by selecting from two conveying motors the first to be operated according to the result of judgement of a transaction judging circuit at the restart of driving of a conveying passage, and providing a drive time setting circuit for setting a difference between operation times of both conveying motors. CONSTITUTION:Operation of restarting driving of a conveying passage is carried out for the purpose of removing bills accumulated on the conveying passage. In response to this operation, a transaction judging circuit 90 judges that the present transaction is that for receiving cash and then a drive time setting circuit 91 drives a lower conveying motor 89 ahead and drives an upper conveying motor 88 on the delivered side after a predetermined time elapses. Thereby a lower unit 51 takes in the accumulated bills and restarts driving of the whole conveying passage. In the case of transaction for dispensing cash, the drive time setting circuit 91 drives the upper conveying motor 88 ahead and drives the lower conveying motor 89 on the delivered side after a predetermined time elapses. An upper unit 50 then takes in bills.
