Title:
INDIVIDUAL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0282384
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve safety and convenience by deciding the relation between a personal identification code recorded on a card and the inputted personal identification code, counting the number of times of erroneous inputs when the code is erroneously inputted, and comparing the number of times of the erroneous inputs with a prescribed value when the code is correct.

CONSTITUTION: A reader/writer 2 reads the information of a card 1 where at least a personal identification code 1a is recorded, and a first deciding means 5 decides the relation between the code 1a recorded on the card 1 and the code 1a inputted by an input means 4. An erroneous input frequency counting means 6 counts the number of times of the inputs when the personal identification code 1a is erroneously inputted by the first deciding means 5. A second deciding means 7 compares the number of times of the erroneous inputs 1b with a prescribed vale when the code 1a is decided to be correct by the first deciding means 5. Thus, the safety and convenience can be improved.
