Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the inspection of the input/output of a microcomputer built into an electronic device, such as VTR, via an external communication system or the monitor of the internal condition of the microcomputer via the external communication system.
CONSTITUTION: The microcomputer 12 which can communicate with a peripheral apparatus 2a via a communication format 3a is included in a VTR body 1a. The data for inspection is transmitted from this peripheral apparatus 2a to the microcomputer 12 and the input/output thereof are controlled to inspect the inside of the apparatus. The data of the internal condition, etc., are transmitted via the communication format 3a from the microcomputer 12 to the peripheral apparatus 2a.
