A drum brake device is disclosed in which a shock absorber (13) is provided between an anchor (9) and the ends (2b, 3b) of brake shoes (2, 3) facing the anchor (9). Hence, impact noises between the brake shoes (2, 3) and the anchor (9) can be considerably reduced.
