Title:
HIGH CONDUCTIVE COPPER SINTERED SLIDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0754080
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a material which has a required strength, and excellent in the thermal conductivity and the wear resistance by entering Sn into the Cu-Zn matrix, and dispersing hard particles consisting of Co-Cr-Mo-Si and graphite therein to provide the specified composition.

CONSTITUTION: This copper sintered sliding material has a composition consisting of, by weight, 8.7-29% Zn, 0.5-3% graphite, 0.5-5% Sn, 0.2-1% Cr, 0.8-3% Mo, 0.06-0.3% Si, 1.7-6.3% Co, and the balance Cu. The material has the structure where the hard phase of 7.5-9.5% Cr, 27-30% Mo, 2.1-2.7% Si, and the balance Co, and 0.5-3% graphite are dispersed in the matrix of the alloy of 10-30% Zn, 0.52-5.75% Sn and the balance Cu. In this material, to improve the strength and the wear resistance, Sn is entered into the Cu-Zn matrix with excellent thermal conductivity, and the hard particles consisting of Co-Cr-Mo-Si excellent in the wear resistance at a high temperature and graphite excellent in the lubricating property at high temperatures are diffused therein.
