Abstract:
The motion transmitting remote control assembly comprises a connector (44) having a transverse abutment surface (106) for engaging the support structure (38) and capturing the support structure (38) against the spring finger (70), the connector moulded from an organic polymeric material simultaneously about the conduit (12) and the seal body (40) and the frame (42) to secure the seal body (40) and the frame (42) to the conduit (12) as a moisture impervious unit. The connector (44) has longitudinally spaced apart retaining surfaces, the seal body (40) and the frame (42) including retaining portions captured between the retaining surfaces of the connector (44) to secure the seal body (40) and the frame (42) against longitudinal movement relative to the connector (44).
