PURPOSE: To provide a wire rod having excellent wire drawability, in which the variance and excess and deficiency of coating weight is not developed at the adhesive part so that the coated film rate is suitable and uniform.

CONSTITUTION: After executing a dipping treatment for coating film of the wire rod 10 into film coating liquid 8 under dipping condition according to the coating film kind, the wire rod 10 is pulled up from the film coating liquid 8 and rotated. In some case, the wire rod 10 is pulled up from the film coating liquid 8 and rotated and also, the blasting from an air blower 5 is executed toward the wire rod 10. By this method, the wire rod 10 having the suitable and uniform coating weight and excellent wire drawability is obtd.
