Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize the ISDN terminal adaptor in which caller information is noticed to the user in voice. CONSTITUTION:When D-channel information sent from a network enters a data link means 6 via an S/T interface 7 at the arrival of a call, the protocol processing of D-channel information is implemented in the data link means 6, a caller number is generated and outputted to a control means 8. The control means 8 generates caller information such as a name and a department of the caller based on the sent caller number. The control means 8 controls the voice synthesis means 1 according to generated caller information by a caller information output trigger signal generated by off-hooking of the user to output a synthesized voice message such as 'This is a phone call from Mr. Suzuki of the ABC corporation'.
