Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the efficiency of a motor by using an elastic and flexible carbon fiber brush and forming spiral slit on a commutator, thereby smoothing rectifying. CONSTITUTION:A brush 18 is formed by bundling carbon fibers, and the fibers are irregularly disposed one by one at its commutator slide side. The fibers are impregnated fixedly with resin at the opposite side to the slide. A commutator 19 is spirally formed with insulating slit between commutator segments to feed air toward a bearing 21 when a rotor rotates. Scattered carbon fiber pieces are prevented from flowing into the bearing by a sealing plate 29.
