Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the optical isolator which is compact and convenient and can be mass produced.
CONSTITUTION: At one end face 12b of a magnet 12, a holder 20 is composed of a disk-shaped plate body 21 and a beam part 22 protruded from one face of the plate body 21 to the inside of a through hole 12a and parallelly extended in the lengthwise direction of the through hole 12a. Plural slit grooves are formed at the beam part 22, and a Faraday rotor 1, 1/2 wavelength board 2 and birefringence crystal boards 3a and 3b are adhesively fixed to these slit grooves.
