PURPOSE: To automate totalizing work from the recognition up to the totalization and the transfer of information written on a voting paper in a ballot box.

CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a case body 11 equipped with a voting port through which the voting paper is thrown in, a reading part 33, 34 to read the information written on the voting paper 21 thrown into this case body 11, a recognizing part to recognize the information read by this recognizing part 33, 34, a totalizing part to totalize vote information recognized by this recognizing part, and a communicating part to transfer each vote information obtained by the totalizing part to a host computer.
