Title:
【発明の名称】眼鏡用ガラスの研磨ディスク
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3196030
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Grinding disc has a profiled or cylindrical shape with an approx. 3mm thick outer abrasive layer(1) of diamond particles in a metallic, pref. bronze, binder. The abrasive layer (1) is carried on a metallic ring, e.g. copper, with good heat conductivity. Ring thickness is up to 10% of the disc radius. A body (3) mfd. in a glass or carbon reinforced phenolic resin, supports the copper ring (2). Heat transfer between the body and the ring (2) can be improved by addn. of metal particles e.g. aluminium in the joint region. The ring (2) is attached to the body (3) by bonding or shrinking-on. A central hole (4) in the body (3) accepts a spindle.
