PURPOSE: To ensure an effective application of the transmitting equipment, by reading periodically the idle state of an outgoing circuit at the time that is decided by the number of units of the transmitting equipment and holding time of the equipment.
CONSTITUTION: When stored correspondences are transmitted, a picture signal storing device 8 at a storing/converting part C reads periodically the idle state of an outgoing circuit at the time decided by the number of outgoing circuits of a facsimile transmission controller 6, the number of facsimile automatic calling devices 4 and each holding time of both controller 6 and device 4. Then a transmitting request is given to an exchange 3 from the call control information of the above-mentioned correspondences that is ready for transmission when an idle outgoing circuit is available.
