Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform winding while applying tensile force by arranging the linear section of field winding in parallel with a plane containing the axis of rotary shaft of rotor and the inter-pole center and arranging two end turn sections at the opposite ends of the linear section, respectively, in parallel with two planes crossing with the plane containing the axis of rotary shaft and the inter-pole center. CONSTITUTION:A slot 1 for receiving the linear section of field winding is formed in parallel with a plane 3 containing the center 4 of the rotary shaft of a rotor and the inter-pole center 5, while slots 1 receiving the end turn sections are formed, respectively, in parallel with two planes 10, 11 crossing with a plane 7 containing the center line 4 of the rotary shaft of rotor and the inter-pole center 5. Consequently, when field winding is wound directly around a winding fixing shaft 2, tensile force can be applied, in the jointing direction, onto the field winding at a portion of each end turn section. By such arrangement, a superconducting field winding can be wound into the slot 1 with tensile force being applied thereon.
