PURPOSE: To precisely and quickly detect the concentration of human type IV collagen peptide and to simply diagnose a liver disease by using a reagent, for the sandwich enzyme immunological determination of human type IV collagen, which contains a specific essential constituent element.
CONSTITUTION: The reagent for the sandwich enzyme immunological determination of human type IV collagen contains essential constituent elements indicated in (1) to (4). (1) an enzyme-labeled antibody which has enzyme-labeled a monoclonal antibody which cross-reacts with pepsin-soluble human type IV collagen. (2) A buffer solution. (3) An antigen-bonded solid-phase carrier in which another antipepsin-soluble human type IV collagen monoclonal antibody recognizing a part different from the monoclonal antibody, under (1), which cross-reacts with pepsin-soluble human type IV collagen is bonded to a solid- phase carrier. (4) A purified pepsin-soluble human type IV collagen standard sample. By using the reagent, the concentration of human type IV collagen peptide is measured.
