Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an aluminum alloy plate, coated with a rust preventing lubricant without deteriorating continuous spotting properties even by pressing the alloy plate and then directly welding the plate without removing the rust preventing lubricant and excellent in resistance spot weldability. CONSTITUTION: This aluminum alloy plate is obtained by coating at least one surface thereof with a rust preventing lubricant containing 0.01-1wt.% esters or/and 0.01-1wt.% synthetic fatty acid and having 1.1-20cSt kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C in 0.1-3.0g/m<2> coating amount. The resultant aluminum plate is capable of maintaining higher productivity than that coated with a conventionally applied lubricant such as an oil even by using the aluminum alloy plate in place of a steel sheet in an assembling and treating line for automobiles and contributing to the reduction in production cost for automobiles comprising a body made of aluminum.
