PURPOSE: To reduce noise produced in transferring by disposing a hollow cylindrical substance in such a manner that the shaft thereof is substantially aligned with the direction of a receiving portion at an unloading portion.

CONSTITUTION: At an unloading portion, the shaft of a hollow cylindrical substance 3 is substantially aligned with the direction of a receiving portion 5, so that the substance 3 is discharged from the unloading portion by air pressure in the axial direction of the substance to the receiving portion 5. When the substance reaches the receiving portion 5, the substance 3 is sucked to be attracted, so that the cylindrical side wall 6 of the substance 3 is closely fitted to the periphery of a part of the cylindrical side wall to be partially brought into sliding contact with the cylindical surface and retained on the surface. Thus, the substance is transferred between two stations by air pressure without any excessive shock on the hollow cylindrical substance, so as to reduce noise.
