Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula (A is amino acid residue) and its salt.
EXAMPLE: S-Sulfo-L-cysteinylglycine.
USE: L-Cysteinylgylcine is suspended in glacial acetic acid, reacted with chlorosulfonic acid at room temperature, a separting precipitate is collected by fitration, and it is pufified by a cation excahgne resin, to give S-sulfo-L-cysteinylglycine, the example compound. Similarly cysteinlamino acid as a starting substance is reacted with chlorosulfonic acid, to give sulfocysteine derivative shown by the formula.
