PURPOSE: To form an image on a reversible thermosensitive recording film by using an electrophotographic process for forming the image on a existing plain paper sheet without adding a dedicated large-scale image forming means, to restrain the increase of cost and the capacity of a device, and to suppress an image forming control system from being complicated.
CONSTITUTION: The recyclable reversible thermosensitive recording film which is heated to specified temperature so as to be initialized is supplied and fed to an intermediate transfer belt 150 by a paper supply roller 1. In a state where a toner image transferred on the belt 150 from a photosensitive body 10 is brought into contact with the reversible thermosensitive recording film, the toner image is irradiated and heated by an irradiating means 15 set on a back surface side with respect to the toner carrying surface of the belt 150 so as to form an image on the reversible thermosensitive recording film.
