Abstract:
The security device for a platen press (5) having an upper fixed base and a lower movable base (10) lifts the lower base (10) cyclically by a driving device (15-20). The device comprises a commutator (34) of a braking device which is installed in the drive (20) of the lower base. A cell (30) directs the passage of the bar to the level of the exit of the press. The cell is an inductive cell close to a metallic mass.
