CONSTITUTION: In grouping a sound digital data and inserting it into a video format signal, the monaural and stereo modes are selected properly depending on the contents of program of sound information and the sound information is stored as a digital data. In order to apply the mode identification to the digital data for the monaural or stereo mode, a mode identification signal is inserted and stored. The reproducing processing of the monaural or stereo mode is performed depending on the mode identification signal at reproduction. Thus, a video software with general-purpose is obtained.
