Abstract:

PURPOSE:To form a data array converting circuit rotating data arrayed like a matrix of mXm bits by 90 deg. two-dimensionally. CONSTITUTION:A writing data bit arraying circuit 5 converts the m bits of input data 2 into the prescribed bit array, and after repeating said operation by m times, stores the input data of mXm bits in a memory array 7. At the storing of the (mXm)-bit input data in the memory array 7, a memory array R/W signal 12 indicates the writing mode and a memory array address counter 10 acts as a writing address counter. After completing the writing of the input data in the memory array 7, a control circuit 11 switches the memory array R/W signal 12 to the reading mode.
