Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize a cassette with cover which is operated surely with a simple constitution without reducing a maximum tape winding diameter by providing an energizing means which energizes a cover body turning supporting shaft to the rear of a cassette and arranging this energizing means symmetrically with respect to an axis in the energizing direction. CONSTITUTION:Turning supporting shafts 4 are provided on the side face of a cassette cover 3, and fitting holes 5 of turning supporting shafts 4 a tapered toward the rear and having an about triangular shape are formed on the side face of a cassette body 1. A pair of kick springs 17a and 17b are arranged axially symmetrically with respect to a center line 14 in the thickness direction which passes centers of supporting shafts and goes toward the rear of the cassette body 1 and energize the cover 3 to the rear. By this constitution, the conventional volume occupied by tension springs in the cassette is reduced to the volume corresponding to the thickness of kick springs 17a and 17b, and therefore, it is possible that a maximum tape windable diameter in the cassette is equal to that of current analog cassettes as shown by 11.
