Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the external shape of a cylinder small and prevent the malfunction of a limit valve by providing an operating rod connected to the limit valve body and able to freely come out and go in, on the inner wall surface of the cylinder main body. CONSTITUTION:A valve chest 12 for accommodating a valve body 11 of a limit valve 2 is formed in a cylinder body 8, and an operating rod 13 connected to the valve body 11 and able to freely come out and go in is provided on the inner wall surface of the cylinder body 8. When a piston 7 contacts to or parts from the operating rod 13 the limit valve 2 is changed over through the operating rod 13. Since the limit valve 2 is incorporated in the cylinder body 8 the limit valve 2 does not cause malfunction due to sticking of foreign materials to it and the overall external shape of the cylinder can be made small.
