Title:
VERTICALLY-MOVING WICK TYPE PETROLEUM BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5929908
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify constitution and to reduce a manufacturing cost, by a method wherein one end of a connecting belt is wound around a wick vertically- moving shaft, the other end thereof is coupled to a control knob, which is positioned so that a wick is made vertically movable through sliding of the control knob, and the connecting belt is made by a leaf spring to normally energize the wick downwardly.

CONSTITUTION: A connecting belt 9, formed by a self-take-up type leaf spring, is energized in the direction of an arrow mark B, and which a control knob 10 operated in the direction of an arrow mark C, a wick vertically-moving shaft 4 rotates through the medium of a take-up rail part 7a to raise a wick 2. With an earthquake resistant fire extinguisher being actuated, an engaging member 8 is released, the wick vertically-moving shaft rotates in the direction of the arrow mark B by the accumulated force of the connecting belt 9, and the wick 2 is lowered in the direction of an arrow mark A. Operation of the control knob is performed through a direct moving system instead of a rotary system to conduct vertical control of the wick and display thereof in a simple manner such as straight lines, resulting in freedom and simplification of a whole constitution and reduction in a manufacturing cost.
