PURPOSE: To increase the amount of atomization and obtain the supersonic atomizing device having a high efficiency by a method wherein a three-dimensional reticulated structural body is mounted in an atomizing chamber, in which liquid is reserved, to control the fluctuation of the level of the liquid generated by supersonic vibration.

CONSTITUTION: The three-dimensional reticulated structural body 14 of foamed urethane or the like is accommodated in the atomizing chamber 3 and the central part thereof is provided with a cylindrical hole 14a so as not to bother the propagation of the supersonic vibration. When an operating switch is thrown, the supersonic vibration of an oscillator 12 propagates through water, a water column 17 is formed on the level A of the liquid and minute atomized particles are dispersed from the water column 17. On the other hand, air, sucked by a fan 9, is introduced into a blow-off guide 16 passing through the inside of the three-dimensional reticulated structural body 14 and blows the micro-particles of the water up. In this case, the three-dimensional structural body 15 prevents the fluctuation of the liquid level A above the supersonic oscillator 12, the water column 17 is stabilized, uniform atomization is permitted and the amount of atomization may be increased.
