Title:
PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN PLATE FOR LETTER SET PRINTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6141149
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive resin plate capable of dry off-set printing using a prior art planographic off-set printer by providing a photosensitive resin layer on a thin iron plate having a tensile strength in excess of a particular value, an elongation percentage below a particular value and a thickness in a particular range.

CONSTITUTION: An iron plate with ≥55kg/cm tensile strength, ≤10% elongation percentage and 0.03W0.12mm thickness is used as a support. A photosensitive resin layer with a thickness in a range of 0.10W0.45mm is provided on the surface of the iron plate. The photosensitive plate which is obtained in this way can be readily installed on and removed from an off-set printer in the same way as with the prior art planographic plate. The plate can be readily obtained through ordinary exposure and development processes, and it has excellent durability for water-free dry off-set printing (letter set printing).
