PURPOSE: To perform proper display by displaying an interlocking range based upon the quantity of light emission of the 2nd light emission part when the 1st light emitting part is in a bounce state or the sum of the quantities of light emission of the 1st and the 2nd light emission parts at the time of front lighting.
CONSTITUTION: When the 1st light emission part 1 is in a direction for front lighting, an L-level signal is outputted from a detecting means 3 and a data selector 10 outputs data Dv12 on the interlocking range based upon the sum of the quantities of light emission of the 1st light emission part 1 and the 2nd light emission part 2 from the 1st arithmetic part 8. When the 1st light part 1 is set in such a direction for bounced lighting as to emit light except to a front subject, a detecting means 3 outputs an H-level signal, and data Dv2 on the interlocking range based upon the quantity of lght emission of the 2nd light emission part 9 is outputted by the data selector 10 from the 2nd arithmetic part 8 and displayed on a display part 11. In equations, Iv12 is the sum of the quantity of light emission of the 1st light emission part 1 and the 2nd light emission part 2, Iv2 is the quantity of light of the 2nd light emission part 2, and Sv and Av are a photographic film speed and an aperture value respectively.
