PURPOSE: To reproduce synchronously video information and audio information, by performing address conversion for linking a video and an audio signal reproducing device together.

CONSTITUTION: Keys on a keyboard 6 are operated to specify a frame number FNR and access operation is started. A control part 5 performs the address conversion to find a number code TNR and an index code IX corresponding to the specified frame number, and they are supplied to a compact disk player 2, starting the access operation. Position data and an access address from a video disk player 1 are compared mutually by a control part 5 to detect whether the acess operation is completed or not. Then, the video disk player 1 performs still picture reproducing operation. The compact disk player 2 is switched from a pause state to a play state to supply audio signals reproduced from a compact disk to speakers 4A and 4B.
