PURPOSE: To attempt to reduce the moving distance of a movable plate and make it possible to perform load conversion operation efficiently and quickly by such an arrangement wherein a movable plate which is movable up and down in parallel with a hanging rod, lifting springs, weight supporting members and a weight supporting member revolving mechanism are provided.
CONSTITUTION: Integrally with a movable plate 10, 5 sets of weight supporting members 8aW8e, which are arranged vertically with proper space provided between them, are pivotally supported by shafts 5aW5e toward the side of a hanging rod 25. A weight supporting member revolving mechanism is composed of fixed sliding pieces 3aW3e fixed to a supporting frame 9 and revolving pieces 6aW6e pivotally installed to the movable plate 10 by shafts 4aW4e, and the distance between respective pieces may be a multiple of a constant value, therefore, the moving distance of the movable plate can be shortened. By the rotation of a knob 21, a swivel roller 17 swivels and it causes the weight supporting member revolving mechanism to rotate and such positions where weights 24aW 24e are separated from or applied to the hanging rod 25 can be freely selected. At this time, the rotating operation of the knob 21 can be smoothly carried out by the action of a lifting spring 1.
