PURPOSE: To improve workability and inform a driver of the completion of mission actuation and then prevent malfunction by providing a push-button type indicating means instead of an actuating lever that performs shift and select operations.

CONSTITUTION: After a clutch 6 is disconnected by stepping in a clutch pedal, a key top 11 that indicates the required shift position of a push-button type indicating device 1 is pushed. Subsequently, a control unit 2 clears the display of a display unit 9 and opens a valve V2 according to the output of a sensor S2 that detects the disconnection state of the clutch 6. Consequently, an actuator 7 receives air supply and the shift actuation of a transmission 8 is performed. When the shift actuation is completed, the shift position is displayed on the display unit 9 by the position signals from a sensor S4. At the same time, a valve V1 is opened for a preset time and the said key top 11 is pushed back by the air guided to an air induction port 17.
