PURPOSE: To reduce times for grinding and reduction and to enable automation and lessening of manpower, by obtaining the 1st stage reduction after simultaneous rough grinding of the respective increments of one lot and obtaining the 2nd stage reduction after fine grinding thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A skip elevator 1' changed therein with increments 1,1... drawn from plural positions of one lot of raw materials or products which are powdery and granular materials such as coal, ore or the like is hoisted up to a hopper 12 by means of a guide 11, and the contents are charged into the hopper 12. The contents are roughly ground with a rough grinding machine 2, and are put into the 2nd skip elevator 13. These materials are put into a vibrating feeder 15 contg. a vibrator, and while the materials are oscillated by the same, the materials are reduced with the 1st stage rotary reducer 16 and the reduced materials are put into an elevator 18. The reduced materials are charged into a hopper 4, and after the materials are ground with a fine grinding machine 6, they are reduced with the 2nd stage rotary reducer 8, and the final reduced materials are fed into a chute 9 for use as test samples. Manpower is thus reduced and the variations in the samples are reduced without performing grinding and reducing for each increment.
