PURPOSE: To always obtain an appropriate exposure with the probable averaging of the sensitivity by arranging a spectral sensitivity filter to lower spectral characteristics of the output of a photoelectric conversion means for photometering peripheral part of a picture in the wavelength areas of blue and red.

CONSTITUTION: A penta-prism PR, an eye piece lens EL and measuring condenser lens ML are provided and spectral sensitivity correction filters FA and FG are arranged in front of a photoelectric conversion means SP such as silicone blue cell. The cell SP photometers the central portion SA of a picture at a part thereof covered with the filter FG and the surrounding area SG thereof covered with the filter FA. Spectral characteristic of the spectral sensitivity correcting filters FG and FA are adjusted to eliminate exposure errors due to deviation in spectral energy distribution.
