Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3845594
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a protecting part located in the foremost part of a shoe integrally.
SOLUTION: A toe cover (10) for athletic shoes comprises a vamp part (16) covering at least a part of the front part of a vamp of the shoe and the protecting part (12) located at the foremost part of the shoe and made up of a protection part body (12a) and a bottom part (12b). The protection part body (12a) of the protecting part and the bottom surface (12b) of the protecting part are molded integrally with a translucent resin. 'Translucence' in this invention means to satisfy two conditions. The translucence hardly acts as an obstacle to nailing to the bottom surface of the protecting part. The front end of the shoe is almost hidden by the protection part body of the protecting part and is hardly seen clearly from the outside. Colored translucence as well as colorless translucence can be allowed.
