Abstract:
To provide a toilet device capable of certainly supplying wash water to a toilet body.SOLUTION: A toilet device comprises: a toilet body disposed in a toilet room; a toilet seat cover which is operatively disposed on the toilet body and can be opened and closed relative to the toilet body; and a wash water storage unit to store wash water to be supplied to the toilet body. The toilet device comprises: a human detection unit 31 to determine whether a user is in the toilet room; a light transmission unit disposed in at least part of the toilet seat cover to make it possible to monitor an inside of the toilet body from an outside of the toilet body; a state detection unit 32 which, when the toilet seat cover is in the closed state, detects whether the wash water is supplied to the inside of the toilet body from the outside of the toilet body via the light transmission unit; and a control circuit 36 which, if it is detected that no user is in the toilet room and it is detected that the wash water is not supplied to the inside of the toilet body in the closed state of the toilet seat cover, then causes the wash water in the wash water storage unit to be supplied to the inside of the toilet body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
