TOMATO HARVESTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2764775
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To separate a tomato charged into a hopper from a stem or a leaf by installing a sifter for vibrating a comb-toothed fruit removing table in the upper part of the hopper.
CONSTITUTION: The tomato harvester is obtained by installing a sifter 61 for vibrating a comb-toothed fruit removing table through a crank mechanism driven by a prime mover in the upper part of a hopper 21, separating a tomato from a stem or a leaf, dropping the tomato onto the hopper and discharging the stem or leaf along the comb teeth of the fruit removing table. Thereby, fragments of impurities such as the stem, leaf, earth and sand are removed from the tomato by a reversing belt conveyor 42 in a fruit grading table 41 and unripe and putrefied fruits, etc., are further removed to tumble the tomato onto a charging table 51 by its own weight.
