To provide toner capable of providing a wide scope of selection of a material used as bonding resin and particle of external additive and preventing the particle of the external additive from being separated from a base particle and to provide its manufacturing process.
In this toner manufacturing process, an external additive dispersed liquid containing the particles of the external additive and a lower alcohol solution is sprayed on the base particles by using a spraying means in a spray furnace having peripheral speed of the outermost periphery of a rotary member for letting the base particles flow and pass in the spray furnace of 30 m/s or more and temperature in the furnace being below glass transition temperature of the base particle, and the particles of the external additive are externally added to the base particles to manufacture the toner.
