To provide a toner recovery device capable of easily preventing a motor buzzing without altering the motor itself.

The toner recovery device 1 which agitates used toner recovered in a waste toner container 2 comprises a shaft member 3 which is supported rotatably on both side walls of the waste toner container 2, a blade 3A provided integrally with the shaft member 3, the motor 4 which is provided outside the waste toner container 2 and drives one end of the shaft member 3 for rotation, a cylindrical warm gear 16 which is provided between the motor 4 and one end of the shaft member 3 and transmits the rotation of the motor 4 to the shaft member 3 and also makes the motor spindle 4A generate a thrust force, and an elastic member 17 which is provided at one end side of the shaft member 3 and energizes the shaft member 3 toward the other end. When the motor 4 drives the shaft member 3 to rotate, the elastic member 17 increases the thrust force generated by the motor spindle 4A by using an increase in rotational torque of the shaft member 3 by the energizing force applied to the shaft member 3.
