Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically open a tonneau cover at the time of opening a back door by interlocking it with opening and closing of the back door.
SOLUTION: The tonneau cover is held in a closed state by engaging a tonneau hook 10 with a tonneau hook engagement projection 63 of a hanger 60. When a back door is closed, a slider 70 is moved forward as it is made contact with the back door, and at this time, a projection 81 for interlocking which is formed on a head end of an arm 80 rotated, energized and mounted by the slider 70 moves forward by turning around the lower side of a projection 67 for interlocking which is formed on the hanger 60. Thereafter, when the back door is opened, the slider moves backward, and at this time, the hanger 60 is moved downward as the projection 81 for interlocking makes contact with a surface on the front side of the projection 67 for interlocking, the tonneau hook 10 is removed from the tonneau hook engagement projection 63 and the tonneau cover opens.
