To provide a tool 2 for filing in which the conservation of documents can be performed without forming holes in documents, and access to the documents can be performed without scattering the documents.
The tool 2 includes a folder 6 and a clip 8. The folder 6 includes a pair of first gripping members 10 which grip documents and a back section 12. The first gripping members 10 are extended toward the front side from the back section 12. The back section 12 includes a first stopping element 16. The clip 8 includes a pair of second gripping members 20 which grip the first gripping members 10 and an adapter 22. The second gripping members 20 are extended toward the front side from the adapter 22. The adapter 22 includes a second stopping element 42. The second stopping element 42 is located at the front side of the first stopping element 16. When the clip 8 moves to the rear side and the second stopping element 42 contacts with the first stopping element 16, the movement of the clip is 8 stopped.
