Abstract:
To improve a power tool that can be attached with and detach an accessory.SOLUTION: A power tool is equipped with a motor configured to provide driving force to a tip end tool, a braking mechanism that is disposed in a driving force transmission path from the motor to the tip end tool, and is configured to brake the driving of the tip end tool, at least one attaching portion that is configured to be attached with an accessory, and a regulating member that is configured to be directly or indirectly pressed by the accessory to be displaced when attaching the accessory to any of at least the one attaching portion. The regulating member is located at a preventive position where releasing operation in a braking state by the braking mechanism is prevented by inter-member abutting, while the accessory is not attached to any of at least the one attaching portion. The regulating member is located at a permissible position where the releasing operation in the braking state is permitted because the inter-member abutting does not occur, while the accessory is attached to any of at least the one attaching portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
