Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a topsheet of an absorbent article having a high inhibitable ability to backward flow of once absorbed liquid and a high followup ability to the movement of a wearing person.
SOLUTION: This topsheet 10 of the absorbent article is composed of a nonwoven fabric having many heat welding parts 3 formed by embossing. Between the heat welding parts 3, fibers constituting the nonwoven fabric are projected in the thickness direction of the nonwoven fabric and form many raised parts 4a and 4b respectively on the upper and lower surfaces of the nonwoven fabric. The raised part 4b formed on the lower surface side of the nonwoven fabric is turned to the shape that the base part is projected in the plane direction of the nonwoven fabric.
