Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure that can start power transmission without causing excessive slip at a traction part immediately after operation start even under a cryogenic environment.SOLUTION: A toroidal type continuously variable transmission 1 presses an input disc 3a toward an output disc 4a with a loading type cam device 25. A controller controls a change gear ratio between the input disc 3a and the output disc 4a so that the change gear ratio is on the most deceleration side at operation start.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
