PURPOSE: To improve transmission efficiency so as to improve power performance and fuel consumption performance of an automobile.
CONSTITUTION: The power of an engine is transmitted to a left side input side disc 2 from a torque converter 36 through an epicyclic gear 37 and a pressing device 8, and a right side input side disc 2 is rotated at the same speed in the same direction through an input side rotary shaft 15. The rotation of the respective input side discs 2, 2 is transmitted to output side discs 4, 4 through power rollers so as to rotate a drive side gear 40 fixed to a sleeve 21. The rotation of the drive side gear 40 is transmitted to an output side rotary shaft 17 through a driven side gear 39. Since the number of gears provided at a power transmission part is small, power transmission loss is reduced by that part.
