Abstract:
To provide a lock-up mechanism capable of easily and safely assembling a rotatable part and reducing the number of components, in a structure of a power transmission mechanism from a driving side to a driven side, as regards a lock-up device of a torque converter for a vehicle.SOLUTION: A lock-up device of a torque converter comprises: an output-side clutch holding portion rotatable around a rotation axis of the torque converter, holding a lock-up clutch and transmitting power from the clutch; a drive plate fixed and connected to the output-side clutch holding portion, rotatable around the rotation axis of the torque converter, and transmitting power to a turbine side; a retainer plate holding an elastic body, relatively rotatably combined with the drive plate, receiving power transmission from the drive plate to the elastic body, and rotatable around the rotation axis of the torque converter; and a movement regulation mechanism formed between the drive plate and the retainer plate and regulating movement in a rotation axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
