Title:
TORQUE DETECTION MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003344187
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a torque detection mechanism capable of directly detecting a relative amount of rotation between an input shaft and an output shaft as a torque.

An opposite face 7 on the input shaft side is formed vertically to an axis of the input shaft 2, and sensors 9 and 10 for detecting a magnetic flux are installed on positions shifted by 180° in phase on the face 7 on the input shaft side. An opposite face 8 on the output shaft side of the output shaft 3 has an inclination. The inclination is formed in a shape cut by a plane from the highest point 11 to the lowest point 12. By employing the shape as described above, a pair of inclined sections 13 and 14 are formed at an intermediate part between the point 11 and the point 12 on the opposite face 8 on the output shaft side. Magnets 15 and 16 are disposed at intermediate positions of the inclined sections 13 and 14, respectively.
